Christie’s · Prototype

Fluid typography

A workbench for agreeing Christie’s type sizes. Read the proposal, change the sizes while you look at real pages, then check the result at every screen width.

  1. Read the proposal

The sizes, the roles, what changes from today and the rollout, on one page.

  2. Tune the sizes on a screen

Each page opens with Figma’s font sizes in a panel. Change a number at 390, 1440 or 2560px and the page follows. Point at a row to see which text uses it.

  3. Compare widths

Today’s sizes next to the draft at 390, 1440, 1920 and 2560px, side by side. The same panel is here, so a change shows at every width at once.

Where your changes go

The pages open on the proposal: Figma’s Mobile and Desktop sizes as they are today, and smaller sizes than today’s for the largest screens. Your changes sit in the page’s address, and every tab and window of this prototype on your computer follows them as you type. To show someone else, press Copy link in the panel and send it. When the group agrees, the numbers in that link become the new proposal, and the sizes to put into Figma.

Reference: the full tuner, with a chart and checks and every size at this screen’s width.

To send round the team: the share version, before and after with the tune panel and nothing else.
